Omega 365 Document Management training for consultants
The course was held by Anita Øygard and Aleksander Vaage from Omega 365 Software.
The session introduced Omega 365’s Document Management module and provided participants with a solid foundation in practical system use. It also highlighted the value created through close cooperation between Omega 365 Software and Omega 365 Consulting. Stronger knowledge sharing across the companies supports higher delivery quality, better project support, and solution development that stays closely aligned with real customer needs.
Hilde Dahl, Department Manager in Omega 365 Consulting in Stavanger, welcomed the group and emphasized the importance of staying up to date and actively seeking new knowledge to maintain an advantage in a competitive market.
The course was held by Anita Øygard and Aleksander Vaage from Omega 365 Software, and nine participants from Omega 365 Consulting participated in the session. The agenda combined an introduction to the Document Management module with practical training in document control workflows and system functionality.

One of the key benefits of the course was the opportunity to compare real project experience with how the solution is developed and supported. Input from consultants working in document control was shared directly with the software team, strengthening the link between day-to-day needs and product development. For customers, this means access to consultants with stronger system understanding, higher delivery quality, and more efficient support through the project lifecycle. It also strengthens the ability to deliver both technology and specialized competence in projects where document control expertise is critical.
Aleksander Vaage highlighted the motivation behind the initiative and the impact of sharing knowledge across the companies.

Feedback from participants showed a clear demand for this type of competence-building initiative.
Sissel Johansen, an Omega 365 consultant who has worked on the new SUS (Stavanger University Hospital) project in Stavanger for Sykehusbygg, the Norwegian Hospital Construction Agency, for the past six years, drove four hours from Kristiansand to attend the session. She emphasized the importance of continuous learning and staying professionally relevant.
“We can never stop learning new things, and in order to stay relevant in a demanding job market, this is a great opportunity to stay up to date on the latest technology within project management.”

This training session was the first time Omega 365 Software and Omega 365 Consulting collaborated in this format, and it opens the door for similar initiatives in other modules and disciplines within the Omega 365 system. By connecting product development more closely to real project experience, customer deliveries can be strengthened through improved project support, higher quality outcomes, and solutions that continue to evolve in line with practical use.
