The homes are arranged around a shared courtyard and connected by an underground parking facility, which frees up space for green outdoor areas between the buildings. The architecture combines a clean and functional expression with features that add value for residents, including rooftop terraces overlooking Nordåsvannet and sheltered entrance areas. Built between 2020 and 2023, the project saw Omega 365 Protek involved throughout the entire process, from feasibility studies and early design to detailed engineering and construction.
“It’s very positive for us that Talgø has chosen to highlight the Hopsåsen project in their marketing. It shows that our work delivers on aesthetics, quality, and functionality, while also giving us valuable visibility in a market where integrated solutions are becoming increasingly important,” says Carl Thomas Egenæs, Project Manager and Architect at Omega 365 Protek’s Bergen office.
Talgø’s presentation of the project highlights how the MøreRoyal cladding has been applied in Hopsåsen 46, and may serve as a useful reference for those working with similar residential developments and material choices.
