An important milestone for the new office building in Ølensvåg

On Tuesday, August 19, the topping-out ceremony for the new office building in Ølensvåg, Norway, was celebrated with cakes, sandwiches, and coffee. This tradition in the construction industry marks the milestone of achieving a sealed building while honoring everyone who has contributed to the project.

The topping-out ceremony for the new Ølensvåg office building was recently held.

The three-story structure, set for completion by December, is progressing well under a tight schedule.

“We are right on track with the plans. Delivery is scheduled for December 19, and we have managed the construction process efficiently so far. Now we are entering a critical phase with interior work, where everything will come together. We have a strong plan and great cooperation with all involved parties,” says project Manager Enrique Guerrero from Engelsen Bygg.

The project includes contributions from Helgevold Elektro, Hervik Rør, Nord Rogaland Blikk og Ventilasjon, Prefab Partner, H-Betong, Tveit Maskin, Dommersnes og Larsen, Edvar Byggeservice, Brødrene Olsen, and several smaller subcontractors.

The office building, designed by Terje Lunde and Omega 365 Areal, will house approximately 100 office spaces, shared facilities such as meeting rooms, a gym, and a rooftop terrace, providing much-needed capacity for Omega 365’s growing team.

“The collaboration with Engelsen Bygg has been excellent, and now we are in the final stretch. It will be great to have increased capacity for office spaces to accommodate our ever-growing staff,”  says Project Manager at Omega 365 Property, Anders Lunde.

The topping-out ceremony not only marked the milestone of achieving a sealed building but also honored all contributors to the project – from the development phase to construction work.
