Andreas Birkeland Kleppestø is Section Manager for Engineering Services at Omega 365 Protek, combining his leadership role with hands-on project management in his daily work.

His workdays are varied, ranging from technical evaluations to administrative tasks, depending on project needs. He is currently working primarily with Equinor’s test center K-lab at Kårstø in Tysvær, where Omega 365 Protek delivers both engineering and installation services in close collaboration with subcontractors who are closely supervised. In addition, he contributes to tender preparation, quality systems, finance, strategy, and other important internal initiatives.

He holds an engineering degree from Høgskolen i Bergen and graduated in 2016. Toward the end of 2017, he joined what was then known as PDS Protek, quickly taking on project responsibilities with a steep learning curve. Since then, he has worked with a wide range of clients, both as an engineer and project manager, building broad experience across multiple disciplines.

What he appreciates most about Omega 365 Protek is the variety in his day-to-day work. The combination of different roles, clients, and industries means no two days are exactly alike, providing both professional challenges and continuous learning. He also highlights the short decision-making processes and the benefits of working in a local company, where decisions are made close to both the projects and the people carrying them out.

Outside of work, daily life largely revolves around family life with two active boys aged two and three. When time allows, he enjoys spending time with friends, playing volleyball, and getting involved in various activities as opportunities arise.
